All of our operatories are equipped with computers that have dual flat panel monitors so that you can view the images along with the doctor. The rooms are also equipped with CD/DVD players with wireless headphones for your listening and viewing comfort. Each room has an X-ray machine so that you will not have to leave the comfort of our Adec chairs. The X-rays are digital images which means, (no chemicals, no trash, no smell, no darkroom, no waiting, and best of all, the amount of radiation exposure is 90% less than that of a traditional films) Our Panoramic machine is also digital. This gives the doctor the best image available for early diagnosis of tumors. It is also useful for referrals to the Maxillofacial Oral Surgeons for extractions of the third molars (Wisdom Teeth) and for referrals to the Orthodontist for difficult cases. Our sterilazation center is state of the art. All instruments are sterilized according to OSHA guidelines. They are stored behind pneumatic doors that are operated by foot pedals. The sealed cabinets are evacuated to prevent stale air from resting on the exterior of the sealed sterile bags. The Panoramic image quality is excellent, second to none. In this case the Maxilofacial Oral Surgeon was able to extract one of the wisdom teeth and elect to leave the other one that was to badly impacted to safely extract. This decision was made possible by viewing the image prior to surgery.
